Junior Java Developer

Job Details

We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Java Developer to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of Java programming and a passion for developing high-quality software applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to build their skills and grow within our company.
Responsibilities
  1. Development: Assist in the design, development and maintenance of Java-based applications and systems.
  2.  Coding: Write clean, efficient and well-documented code under the guidance of senior developers.
  3.  Testing: Participate in testing and debugging of software applications to ensure quality and functionality.
  4.  Collaboration: Work closely with team members to understand project requirements and contribute to technical solutions.
  5.  Learning: Continuously improve your skills and stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Skills And Abilityy
  1. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
  2. Proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC and Hibernate
  3.  Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Angular
  4. Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API design
  5. Proficiency in SQL and relational databases like MySQL, MongoDB, etc
  6.  Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as Apache CloudStack, etc
  7.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  8.  Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  9.  Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, etc
  10.  Soft Skills:
    a. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    b. Good communication and teamwork skills.
    c. Learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
    d. Ability to take direction and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Required Skill Set & Experience
  1. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  2. Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
  3.  Java Application Development
  4.  Reverse Engineering Java application scripts
  5.  Knowledge in Infrastructure like server, VMware & network.
Education/Qualification
  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Internship or project experience in Java development.
