We are looking to recruit a Network Engineer for our datacentres based in India and abroad. As a Network Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in our CTO Team, ensuring seamless operations and delivering exceptional customer service, supporting projects and business development opportunities.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include providing top-tier technical support to both internal and external stakeholders, contributing to the continuous enhancement of our datacentre services, specialist applications, and equipment.
Skills And Abilityy
- Demonstratable hands on experience with most of the following,
- Layer2 and Layer3 switches (VSS, VPC, EtherChannel) and firewalls, Cisco, Dell, SonicWall, FortiGate or Palo Alto Firewalls
- Extensive experience with LANs, VLANs, WANs, VPNs, Firewalls, QoS
- Broad knowledge of Next Generation firewall technology
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, network hardware, software, and network security.
- Ability to translate business request into network solutions and then implement and operate those network solutions
- Multiple years of networking experience operating in an Enterprise IT environment including switches, routers, and firewalls; Routing protocols such as OSFP and BGP
- Broad knowledge in SDN engineering areas and support organization to network performance
- Ability to design and deploy network infrastructure and managing end to end activities that includes network configuration management, developing network segmentation to support multiple segregated network paths for public, data and storage networks.
- Ability to deploy solutions to monitor the existing infrastructure, assessing the infrastructure upgrade needs and planning for new systems
- Ability to troubleshoot network related issues and manage the end-to-end incident management till resolution.
- Holder of network certifications to Cisco CCNP level or equivalent level from other network vendors
- Strong analytical skills and be able to identify, troubleshoot and solve complex problems related to network infrastructure
- Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Required Skill Set & Experience
- Ability to use scripting and programming language to build and maintain networks using python or Go or Perl
- Good communication, problem solving, analytical, team work, time management and other interpersonal skills
Education/Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
