As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through rigorous testing and validation processes. Your expertise in test automation using Karate, along with your knowledge of cloud technologies, will be crucial in automating tests and managing deployments in complex environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Automate test cases using Karate and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify, document, and track bugs.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Use cloud technologies to set up, maintain, and troubleshoot test environments.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of applications through rigorous testing.
- Perform security and compliance testing as needed.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on the quality and performance of the applications.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA engineers.
Skills And Abilityy
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Proficiency in test automation using Karate.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
Required Skill Set & Experience
- Experience with other automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Familiarity with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with security testing practices and tools.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of network protocols and troubleshooting.
Education/Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer engineering/science preferred.
